You love her music (and her, ahem, fashion sense)…
Her TV appearances (which were generally English, but this is the best I can do)…
Her big screen work…
And you love her as Jenny Craig spokeswoman focusing on health rather than size!

She started out as host of MTV International…
Had a short-lived talk show after a number of mostly forgettable sitcom appearances…
And did tons of hosting, including hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos after Bob Saget retired his cheezy voiceovers…
Before becoming the face of Winsor Pilates!

You fell in love with her on Who’s the Boss…
Were kind of afraid of her on Charmed…
And laughed your way through every episode she did on My Name is Earl…
Now, be astounded by Alyssa Milano’s beautiful, clear skin as she endorses acne solution Proactiv!
I’ve never tried the stuff myself, but I […]

This week, I’ll be teaming up with the rest of the Health & Wellness Channel for a theme week, and it’s all about celebrity health. I thought long and hard about the angle I’d use for this, and I’m pleased to tell you that we’ll be taking a closer look at the celebrity spokeswoman and […]

Actor and gun-rights proponent Charlton Heston died on Saturday at the age of 84. He announced in 2002 that he was developing symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. A specific cause of death has not been publicized.
I will always remember Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments and Ben-Hur, and of course for this performance as well:
Whether […]

Last week, I predicted that Your Mama Don’t Dance would suck, and I have to say that I think I was 100% on the nose with that one. Worst piece of so-called entertainment I’ve seen in conscious memory. It would have been better if it were somehow offensive. This is just plain crappy television.
Here’s how […]

Tune in for Possibly the Worst Reality Show Ever Made
Your Mama Don’t Dance is hosted by Ian Ziering, whom you may remember from 90210 and… um… well, I guess just 90210, and it premiers on Lifetime Television tonight at 9 p.m. EST (GMT-5). I think the trailer speaks for itself, but I’ll weigh in after […]

I heard the buzz about Lindsay Lohan recreating Marilyn Monroe’s famous “Last Sitting” in New York magazine far before I actually saw the pictures. It seemed odd to me, her coming out of rehab and jumping into a Marilyn shoot, but wow, it’s stunning.
Here is the New York magazine Last Sitting with Lindsay Lohan as […]

I’ve seen snippets of Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel and thought to myself, “I sincerely hope that’s an act.” She’s loud, obnoxious, rude, overly dramatic, and frankly quite grating at times, but I figured it was just the character. However, after […]

As part of the release activities for his new dance album, David Cassidy is chatting live with fans on 180Music.com at 5 p.m. CST (GMT-6).
Here’s a chunk of the press release I received about the event (which, incidentally, amuses me greatly):
Ladies single or married get ready to spend Valentine’s Day with the original teen heartthrob, […]
