Resources for Managing Your Grief
Last week, I shared my story about losing my brother and how difficult it has been to recover from that blow. From the incredible comments that are continuing to roll in on the post, I can see that I am not alone in grieving this kind of loss.
I don’t have the answers, but I do have a resource that has been really comforting to me and I want to offer it to anyone who might be interested, free of charge. It’s a Bible-based brochure called "When Someone You Love Dies…" It’s 30 pages long, about 6"x7", and contains five articles:
- "It Can’t Be True!"
- Is It Normal to Feel This Way?
- How Can I Live With My Grief?
- How Can Others Help?
- A Sure Hope for the Dead
If you want a copy of this brochure, please e-mail me your name and address and I will send it out. I will cover the cost of postage for those in the US. For those located outside the US, I will provide an address where you can request a copy in your country.
My supply is not unlimited, but I can get more copies if I run out, and I would love to share this material with anyone who would like it.
For those interested in less overtly religious support services…
