Your Mama Don’t Dance Premiers Tonight on Lifetime
Tune in for Possibly the Worst Reality Show Ever Made
Your Mama Don’t Dance is hosted by Ian Ziering, whom you may remember from 90210 and… um… well, I guess just 90210, and it premiers on Lifetime Television tonight at 9 p.m. EST (GMT-5). I think the trailer speaks for itself, but I’ll weigh in after you watch it.
It’s one part Dancing With the Stars, and, if my predictions hold true, one part Jerry Springer. Who thought this was a good idea? Encouraging physical activity, cool. Encouraging family togetherness, cool. Making people tango with their parents after telling them that they were auditioning for a professional dance competition like So You Think You Can Dance?, totally uncool. Especially because I love So You Think You Can Dance? and dancing in general.
