It’s easy to get caught up in the superficial side of exercise. "I want to look hot!" There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be totally adorable in a bathing suit or that special dress. But sometimes those superficial goals are harder to stick with because they mean less to us in the long run. In other words, we know that being buff on the beach isn’t going to change our lives.

If weight is your concern, know where you are compared to what’s considered healthy. If you’re just a little higher than you want to be, and still in the healthy range, things aren’t that bad. If you’re far from where you would like to be, you should be aware of that too.
