Of course you already know that women need the nutrients found in fruits and veggies and you ALWAYS eat your recommended servings EVERY DAY no matter WHAT, but not everyone is as committed to their health as you are. If your family isn’t quite on board, Washington Post foodie Sally Squires offers some great tips to sneak critical greens (and other colors, too), into their meals in her review of Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food by Jessica Seinfeld and The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids Favorite Meals by Missy Chase Lapine.
But she also points out some downsides to sneaking good stuff into familiar dishes, namely that they’ll eventually catch on.
