I don’t know if I asked this yet or not, but can the subject of the essay be a “fictional” character?

I don’t think anyone has asked this yet, so thanks for the question! The essay subject must be a real person. It doesn’t have to be someone you know in person (for instance an online friend or pen pal would be okay), but it needs to be someone with whom you have some kind of real-life relationship–or how would you know whether she’s lively? :]

“or how would you know whether she’s lively?”
Because she’s my current “I am woman hear me roar” hero, lol. (It’s Addison from Grey’s Anatomy, haha.) Ever since I started watching the show and paying attention to her, my attitudes on getting older, looking good (for your age, and not perpetually 20-something), taking pride in yourself and your career, and handling all situations as gracefully as possible have been altered.
For example, I used to say, “Oh, when I’m 39 I hope I still look the same!” But now, I think more along the lines of, “Oh, when I’m 39 I hope I look as good for my age as she does.”
I could write about Kate Walsh, but I don’t know any of these lively things about her, haha, just her character.
Anyway, good luck to all the contestants!!

Maybe you could find someone who reminds you of her and write about that person but really be talking about Addison, and she doesn’t need to know that? ;] Kidding, kidding.
I know you can find someone else, and I’m sure the person you choose will be delighted to be your essay subject.
