Nightmares and Suicide
Science Daily reported earlier this month that nightmares are common in people who attempt suicide:
In the first known report of its kind, a study published in the January 1st issue of the journal SLEEP finds that sleep disturbances are common among suicide attempters, and that nightmares are associated with suicidality.
The article makes it clear that nightmares don’t seem to cause suicide, but there’s a definite concurrence between the two.
How do your dreams affect your well-being?

Wow — this is really surprising. I know that some PTSD sufferers have persistent, vivid nightmares, but I didn’t know that nightmares and suicide have been linked. Thanks for sharing this very valuable and helpful info.
