Reading Inspiration for Women

I’ve always loved to read. We have bookshelves in nearly every room of our house, and since I’ve become a professional book reviewer, people are sending me all these amazing new books to read, hot off the press.

Did you know last year, there were approximately 190,000 books published? That’s why reviewing has become so important — bookstores can’t possibly hold copies of all these books, and how are readers supposed to know what’s best? There is a LOT of junk out there … so I feel a calling to write about the good stuff.

I write the monthly Book Buzz column in Christian Women Online magazine — I hope you’ll go check out my Top Picks for November. I’ve also posted an interview with Hollywood mom, Barbara Cameron, mother of Kirk Cameron (played Miker Seaver in sit-com, “Growing Pains”) and Candace Cameron Bure (starred as DJ Tanner in sit-com, “Full House”).

Barbara is the mother of four grown children and grandmother of thirteen. She has her act together, unlike me, and I feel blessed that I was able to catch up with her for an interview to glean some of her wisdom. Hope you can stop in and read what she has to say.
